Commanding myself to go and do
Has never been an easy thing
You see, I'm an epic procrastinator.
If there's anything else to do
I will do it instead
Even if work is already overdue.
Sometimes I question what is happening:
Is it a product of society's core?
Making too many things to even view?
I worry of times ahead.
Not just for me, but everyone.
Will the numbers grow
Who can't even concentrate for a second?
Or is this how it's always been
But only now we have the evidence?
This cannot be proven, as proof's only just begun:
But will we be reaping what we sow
Or some mutation that we beckon?
Either way, the world's in a dangerous spin
And the consequences could be immense.
